See our process below for a forklift accident spill remediation project:
Our trained technicians staged two 55-gallon OTS drums with a poly liner inside of each, to hold the collected waste. The crew deployed oil dry into the standing product waste liquid, to cease the spreading and any tracking of waste. The crew patched the damaged drum with plug and dike. Now the hole was covered they could now overpack the damaged drum into a 85-gallon OTS drum, for waste.
The crew utilized hard brooms, scrappers, and shovels to work in the oil dry into the spilt product waste liquid, for absorption and solidification. The solidified oil dry was scooped up and put into a designated drum, to be disposed of as waste.
Once the crew completed the remediation, they doffed their PPE and placed them into a second waste drum.
This spill generated three waste drums; they were sealed, properly labeled, and kept on-site, for disposal.
Final photos were taken and remediation was approved.
